5th Annual Blue & Green Mass for Police, Fire & Military

St. Francis of Assisi Parish and Knights of Columbus Council #16369 will hold our 5th Annual Blue & Green Mass on Sunday, September 27, at 12:00 PM. (Flyer attached)

Our first Blue Mass was held in 2021 following the tragic death of Chicago Police Officer Ella French. It began as an opportunity to honor, remember and thank the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities.

This year, we are expanding that recognition to more visibly include those who have served, or are currently serving, in the United States Armed Forces. The addition of Green to our traditional Blue Mass reflects that broader tribute. Police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, corrections officers, members of the military and veterans — along with their families — are especially invited to join us.
